Model of 1905, 4th Change Target Value???

I paid around $400 for one in similar condition (not refinished) a year ago. Mine starts with serial 463 so pretty close in age too. I say go for it they are a lot of fun to shoot.

My .38 M&P Target Model, in the mid-561,000 serial number range shipped on 4/6/27 and has the mushroom headed ejector rod. Here is a photo.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I LOVE used guns. I have some, new and unfired revolvers, but I like the guns with some wear best. My profile picture is a 1903-32 that I found in the basement of a house that was about to be demolished. Most of its nickel finish was in tiny little pieces in the plastic bag it was stored in. It's on display in my living room.

My nickel's worth is that if YOU like it, who cares what anyone else thinks. Figure out what a nice one goes for, then make the lowest offer you think they'll take. I like to know my best price before I walk through the door, but I always end up exceeding it. Good luck, my friend, and happy collecting!
