Moose Hunt is On

My Brother won our NH lottery Friday. Oddly, he won the area that our other Brother won back in 10'. National Forest!!
No wheeled vehicles, no cutting of tree's.

I am his shooting partner. We are both T/C Encore fans. My Poison is .460 S&W rolling out a 20" barrel. His a .450 Marlin.
Our long range, I switch barrels .270 140 gr. His, Tikka T3 .300wsm. I highly doubt we will need long range where we are hunting.

My Brother was 1 out of 275 winners. There was 13,400 applicants!

2010, we harvested a Bull. Shot at Noon, into the truck at 12:30am! 1 1/2 miles back.

I am Excited to do it all over again!

I have of pictures of Moose next to the road, in backyards, down public streets and so on....Here in NH, if you want to see one in October then plan on a hike.
