Mosin Nagant project

Hello, I've seen pictures of people's archangel mosins and one other neat thing some did was put 3D textured vinyl self stick 'carbon fiber' sheets on the flat 'framed in' areas of the sides of the stock and also on the cheekpiece. The fake carbon fiber is nicer than cheap contact paper, it's used for vehicle side mirrors, ventshades, doorpillars, etc. It is cheap on ebay.
Anyhow, nice job.

THAT SOUNDS LIKE A NICE TACTICOOL TOUCH, BB Gallini…...

I saw that when I was doing mine but I wanted a project and, other then the camo job, he really didn't do all that much work to it. The scope mount uses existing mounting points and since it's a scout set-up there's no need to turn down the bolt. All he really did was thread the barrel and paint it. (I do like the paint job though.) I was debating getting the OD stock and doing a snakeskin type motif on it. Since this was my first time airbrushing a firearm I chose to keep it simple though. Maybe my next project I'll get a little more wild.
