My Extreme latest edition of my Sport

Grover, I know you said you got the dust cover on the cheap, and until you installed it I wondered why;)

Looks good! I think the maker of that dust cover did that just so you'd have to close it after every shot :D

Looks good!

Rod it says the same thing when it is open LOL and now knowing how well she will do without it I will have to go against my training and not be anal about closing it as soon as I am done firing. LMAO

oink oink oink :D

That and our pot bellied pig is going to a new home today!!
Who could ask for more :D:D:D

Ok I took it out to our little range and set up at 100 yards to see just how accurate my sport is. Following are some of the pics from this afternoon. I took 3 shots from 200 yards and decided to quit while I was lucky.IMG_20120514_175819.jpg sitting on the hood of my truck while I walk down to set up targets

IMG_20120514_175919.jpg our little range if you back up this road you can stretch it out to 600 yards

IMG_20120514_175847.jpg with the dustcover open so Crracer could see I have "rittin on bofe" sides of the dustcover. LOL

IMG_20120514_175633(1).jpg This was 10 shots in about 15 seconds, I was super happy with this performance at 100

IMG_20120514_175603.jpgI took these three shots at 200, thought I would quit before I had a flyer. I know you all have heard this many times but....she is how she is. I will have to build another one to make any changes she is now my one minute of prairie dog gun

that............... truck............. looks.............. whooped lol but its still kickin

gun looks good man... but wouldnt consider it a sport anymore since you took away its two distinguishing features ;)

Ok its still an M&P15 right, the truck was free, my nephew when the clear coat started turning white started painting it with krylon black gloss
All it needs now is a windshield just a little body work a good sanding and some new paint, its geared so high in the back end that it doesnt have a granny low on the standard tranny and gets over 25mpg on the highway, Its my other project, he got mad at a girlfriend and smashed the bumper, that really taught her huh LOL. We have Doctor Appointments at the VA hospital tomorrow halfway accross the state and that is what we are taking, gets way better gas mileage than our 05 Denali XL. But yeah I am going to build another sport off of the old upper so I can still have a sport

Are you sure your done?...

Oneye: I tried that freezer trick with the barrel nut. It totally worked! Got my new upper on. Was able to get the gas tube out without having to remove the gas block ... I had to re -install the forward assist plunger a couple of times though. It kept sticking and wasn't operating smoothly. Everything seems in order now though. :)

Man, it's a bad**s, that's for sure.

I think I would like the link you mentioned regarding the 'Marines' engraving. I'll pass it along to a USMC
buddy and use it myself too. (just not for USMC)

Thanks for sharing.
