My King sighted, ivory stocked, RM/ case

Stunning!!

A couple of other posters have already used the adjective, but what else can one say? Absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing. A lovely reminder of a time in American craftsmanship that I might say had passed, but the case itself proves that American Craftsmanship still exists.

Bam-Bam Yes, all my guns are waxed. I have used Renaissance wax, but I personally like Collinite's No. 845 insulator wax. I have used it for years with great results. You can get it through Amazon.

I met Marvin Huey once on a gun show trip with Gary Garbrecht many years back. Gary had ordered from Marvin before and wanted to leave Marvin another gun that he could more precisely fit. At that time he was working out of an older 3 story house. Reminding me of a turn of the century, old time, craftsman. He walked us through boxes that were completed in various stages of the process. I was and have remained awed of this man's work, with such perfected accuracy to find details, oil bottle, screw drive, cleaning rod. Fantastic !

Thanks to a very generous forum member I was able to secure 6 Winchester large-primer.357 cartridges for my display case. Thank you very much Kevin. 05Carbon, I do think they add the finishing touch. What's not to like about this forum?
