New information about Trump assassination attempt

I noticed the killers gun was quite a distance from the body and this would explain it. I still can't imagine if things had gone differently. As bumbled as it all seems, it sure could have been horrific. Still..two dead, three injured from an incident that should have been avoidable. More people need to be held responsible for those errors.

Simple question. Why did this happen at the same elevation so to speak. Why no elevated lookout exceeding the roofs of these buildings for a simple birds eye view. These look to be maybe 40’ tall barns if that. Would think a piece of rental equipment like a lull or boom lift might have been an elevation option. Hasn’t it always been about the high ground?

I'll ask again: How did Numb-nuts know he could climb the roof and that it was going to be unguarded? Where was his rifle stashed?

It's one of three things:

- He was lucky and everything fell into place as he did everything in full view.

- He was smarter than the world's best .gov agencies

- It was a set up.

But folks, we can't question what we are told to believe or you'll be labeled a conspiracy theorist.

It's no surprise that the mockingbird news media has done it's best to memory hole the event.

Has the shooters phone ever then cracked.?../
FWIW, according to a BBC article of July 19:
"Officials briefed on the shooting were told he had visited the site of the attack, the Butler County fairgrounds, at least once in the days before the assassination attempt and had previously searched on his phone for symptoms of a depressive disorder.

The attacker had also used his phone to search for images of both Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.

On 15 July, the FBI said its forensic experts have successfully accessed Crooks' phone, and they are examining it and other digital evidence for clues...

Ok. So what do you think really happened?
I think the Secret Service was incompetent. They failed to protect Trump. They did not perform their mission properly. They got sloppy.

It is embarrassing, and it is shameful. It is shambolic.

Standards have obviously slipped.

Once could argue long and hard and vehemently about why standards have slipped, but it is a different discussion, I think, from those who perceive a deliberate plot to place the former president in danger.

My own view is that it is the old "the road to hell is paved with good intentions."

The SS has a mission that has no room for failure. I hope this causes a major shake up across the board at the SS.

IMO, this goes waaaaaaay deeper than we will ever know.....

That's true every major investigation. The last police killing in my command area resulted in over 400 pages plus photos plus outside medical reports. It was a few months before that was complete. There were only 15 or 16 immediate eyewitnesses, so it was a pretty simple report.

A local reporter who was a conspiracy theorist and borderline cop-hater wanted a copy, so I told him how much that would cost him if he requested it from Santa Fe. I then brought him.our District copy, sat him down the the lieutenant's office to read and take notes to his heart's content. He lasted about an hour, came out, thanked me, and went away. He eventually wrote his article with pretty reasonable accuracy.

Utter nonsense. No one can be protected with even close to 100% certainty. Things are better now than Kennedy's time or Ford, Reagan, and Trump would all be dead.

A reasonably intelligent, patient person who is willing to die for it can likely assassinate most anyone. Never wonder why Putin has doubles, lives very much in seclusion, and only and only eats and drinks what a human has eaten or drank some of first.
