No More Ivory Soap?

Yeah . . . Ivory soap and Cascade dish washer detergent are probably mistakes that will live on as well established brand names for the people who acquire them. The rest are pretty forgettable.

Oh, wait . . . Congress will probably pass a law making it impossible for them to stop producing these American Icons.

The same folks who brought you three gallon toilets before the manufactures figured out how to make them work and back-up beepers on construction equipment to drive folks living near active construction sites crazy. ;)

What, no more Bounce?

How am I gonna keep my clothes from getting all static-y in the dryer? Not to mention, how am I gonna live without having to pull suspicious-looking paper items out of the bottoms of my trouser legs at inopportune moments?

Ivory is the only soap I can tolerate - tried some of the other smelly ones through the years but always got an allergic reaction (wife says I'm a hot house orchid.)

Guess I better start stocking up - I still have some shelf space next to my 100W bulbs

I shave with Ivory soap. This means war.

I use Charmin--and that alone--not talking about the other 14 or so products I use of theirs means--Intergalactic War!! :(

I likedIvory but I absolutely cannot stand: Dial soap. PEEuuuuuuuu.

Most if not all of these products will not go out of existence. P&G has been doing this for decades now...thinning the herd. Products that have stopped growing sales at an acceptable rate get sold off to other companies who will keep the brand going as long as sales are sufficient to keep it alive. It's just business; nothing personal.

Ariel laundry detergent is a big seller? Then how come I've never heard of it? Never seen a TV, ad, magazine ad or heard a radio ad?

I have allergies to some soap products. I use Dove Sensitive Skin bar soap and several different scent free laundry detergents. These work for me.

This odorless product intended for people with allergies to the usual smelly stuff should take up less room on your shelf.

Admittedly, at over $40 a gallon, this stuff is not cheap. But, it works really well for my wife who is allergic to virtually everything.

We keep a small pump style dispenser of it at each wash basin to refill from the gallon container.

A gallon lasts us about a year. I like it too. ;)

I believe you might like this too.
