Sweet thanks

Fwiw, I wouldn't put too much trust on Midways backorder dates.. they have a habit of just switching the date out on the day it's supposed to be "in stock." Or at least that's what's been happening on most of my parts and ammo backorders through them. I've had no issues with them otherwise.. outside of losing out on other vendors sales expecting that I would get my order last year instead of this July/August. lol

I thought the follow picture might be of interest to those shopping for unfamiliar ammo brands such as Centurion. I bought this 5000rd case from LuckyGunner for $420 plus shipping (8.4 cents/rd). I placed this order last Friday and it arrived on Tues. That's pretty fast shipping from my perspective given the weight of a 22lr case.

The packaging is of a high quality including the plastic 50rd ammo trays in each small box. Of course until I fire several hundred rounds I won't be confident in its reliability in my 15-22. I've fired over 1500 rds without a single failure of any type using CCI SV so the standard is pretty high from my perspective. I hope to report back on reliability later this weekend for those that might be interested in buying this brand made in Mexico (I believe by Aguilar).

Dod anyones order from Basspro this morning go thorugh, I Just called as my CC was charged and i hadnt received a cancel/backorder notice and they advised that my order was processing and that i should get a tracking number tomorrow as the payment had cleared,

SO hopefully I scored 150 boxes or 7500 Rounds

THat should keep me busy for awhile if it ships still crossing fingers

What was the price on 150 boxes and what was the ammo type?

I received a similar 5k case of this; I've fired 500 rounds of it so far; had one or two FTEs, but that's on par with other ammo that I've fired. I put the JP Yellow Springs on a couple of days ago, and fired 250 round through it today, 1 FTE (it got most of the way out....) and one FTFire (it fired the second time).

I think it's a bit dirtier than other ammo I've used, but it shoots. I was hitting clay pigeons from 100 yds and paint balls from 45 yds with a cheap red/green dot... Can't complain too much...

Centurion Ammo

Just an FYI for those who got some, Centurion = Aguila, that is why the packaging is similar with the plastic inserts. Aguila is a Mexican manufacturer, imported by Centurion in Texas. Not sure if it is all made by Aguila with different branding on the cardboard boxes? Hope this helps. I've had good reliability with the Aguila.
