That happens to me ALL the time. It says "In Stock" so I show up nothing and go back the next day nothing.....then it shows "out of stock" .....somethings fishey

Damn, I thought my supply was a lot.
I'm only around 4000 assorted. Time to step up my game. There are 3 more 100 round boxes of 40's i found hiding in my trunk. Everything but the 2 boxes of Zombie max was bought at Walmart.

Went to the West Knoxville walmart using the tips here and got rooked out of at least one box. Man 2 people ahead of me brought his wife and more or less walked out with 3000 rounds of .22LR. He bought 3 boxes (555 ea) and she "bought" three boxes (555 ea).
I. Have. NEVER. Shot more than 100. 22s. At. One. Time. In. My. Life.
If you think I'm livid, you're darn tootin'! It's a sad day when we have to resort to subterfuge like this to get ammunition. I generally don't keep more than one box of ammo for any gun in the house. Why waste money on something you won't use? Buy ammo, shoot it. Pretty simple. But to get back to the topic, is there any way on either the app or website to just show items in stock at a particular store? Wastes my time and their bandwidth telling me about things they can't sell me.

on the app you can search ammo or what-ever you want you will get different results from what you type . then just hit the filter button on bottom of page and check in store where you should already have you store listed if not you first need to select your store. it does not always list all products from your store.

Let me clarify: I see page after page of things that are out of stock. I don't care what's out of stock. Is there a way to make either the app or the website just show me things that are in stock in the store?
My store showed limited stock of .223 Remington tonight. Went in early, first person in line. Associate looks through boxes and says there isnt any .223...
I started looking over the pallet and holy mackerel it was loaded with 9mm, 250 mega packs of 40s&W 22lr 45ACP, 380, 38 special, 7.62X39 even some 30 carbine lol.
It was like everyone followed me to walmart because before I know it there are people everywhere taking ammo out of open boxes, carrying it to the front to pay for it which I never seen them allow before. A total free for all...I was like in ammo overload and in the process of waiting for the .223 to show up everyone else was carrying off the good stuff LOL.
Anyways after the dust cleared and all the 9mm that everyone else was after was gone, low and behold he opens a box that felt heavy and there it was. 2 whopping stinking boxes of .223 that I thought I might lose my life over 15 minutes before lol.
Oh, the flash mob did allow me to get 2 50 round boxes of 9mm though...

Not that I know of. Its a pain but you just have to keep searching all the different calibers and go down through all the possibilities looking for in stock and limited stock.

I have had amazing luck with the Wal-Mart App combined with being friendly to the department manager to determine when they are stocking the shelves, we have several stores within 15mins of my house. You would be surprised what kind of information a smile, and some kindness will earn you. I can tell you Wal-Marts sporting goods employees are dealing with some real DB's on a daily basis, they are tired of this ammo shortage too.
I buy virtually anything I can find, because I have several employees, and friends that are either to lazy to look for ammo very hard, or cannot afford the gas to drive all over town on a hunch they might find what they want. So we have a cooperative now, we all buy anything we can find on the list of rare items (22LR, 9MM, .223/5.56, .40, .380) and we trade with each other in an effort to thwart the flippers from taking advantage of the free market. So far, over the last several weeks, we pretty much have all we want for stocking up. Its still tough to go to the range and shoot with the fear of not being able to replace what we have. Though it seems to be loosening up a bit lately.

9mm would be worth the stop. Might have some surprise 525 round golden bullets there. We haven't got anything all week from what I've seen.
.223 federal showed up at my local wm tonight.
22lr 40 45 and 9mm ppu and tula brass max was in abundance too.
I bought my .223 and just hung around to watch the 22 and 9mm melt away as word spread it was in stock.
It didnt take very long lol.

Nope.
We're the ones who can still shoot and are prepared for these situations.
It's the unprepared panic buyers that are causing the shortage.
Some stores are just hard to deal with...I figured out in the beginning which ones were playing games or just flat out annoyed with everyone asking about ammo and dont care, and they are my last resort stores I go to now.
I am lucky that my local store has people who really do care about finding you something and I know all sporting goods people on a first name basis.
It also helps with the fact that they know if I come in looking for it, it damn sure is somewhere in the store...

I got there at 9:35 and there were 6 boxes. I took one because I'm replacing what I shoot now. Another guy took 2. It's good to see people not grabbing 3 boxes now. It's a good sign!
