open carry in your area?

While on the subject, what states allow dogs to open carry?

All. I just looked. There is no state that has any law on the books that says a dog cannot carry a firearm. Also...by chance there are no states that have any law that says a person cannot borrow said legally carried firearm from dog to defend the dog or themselves :-D

I would venture to say however, the dog is most likely not old enough to possess a handgun.:D

Q: John is 65; his girlfriend is 17. How much money does John have?

It takes a hook to get a woman. You need mutual interests, good job, good personality, good education, good looks, money, etc. It doesn't matter the hook. He got her so I guess that makes him the winner. :D Larry

Not at all. It's due to determined, grassroots and some political party members pushing, pushing, pushing over a very long time. It is unreasonable exercise of these hard-fought gains that will surely erode them.

Who determines what is unreasonable for another person, you,?
Legal OCers are responsible for dam near 0% of crime, is it unreasonable to stop them from doing something that harms no one just because you don't like it? Is it unreasonable to stop farmers and ranchers and hunters from OCing? Are you going to go around asking people to justify their legal actions?
My point is simple, if someone is doing something legal, and they aren't hurting anyone, maybe, just maybe they should be left alone to do their thing.

Back in my yacht broker days working the major boat shows, we called Saturday "niece day".

The older well dressed guys would show up accompanied by really young girls dressed to impress and wearing really high heels on the docks.

The really wealthy guys would often bring two "nieces".

Fun times.
