I just received my PC 1911 today, I got the 5 inch which is all stainless. I have a very nit picky question. After looking for months at these pistols I seen where Briley is stamped on the bushing at the end of the barrel, everyone I've seen have this, I received mine today mine doesn't, did I receive one with a bushing other than Briley? I'm not doubting the performance shop, but did I receive the same quality? The reason that I'm picky I have multiple PC pistols that I collect, 20 years down the road will someone think this isn't original and been replaced. Thanks for any feed back.

Perhaps you could go to the source and contact S&W Customer Service. They may be able to advise if they are still using the same bushings, and why yours does not have a Briley logo on it. 1-800-331-0852

I bought mine just over 2 years ago. It has the bushing but it has not been stamped anywhere visible from the outside.
The real question, from a performance perspective, is whether the bushing (regardless of its manufacturer) is nice and snugly fitted to your barrel? Will it keep the barrel properly aligned for nice tight groups, or will the barrel flop around inside the sloppily fitted bushing?

There is no manufacture's name stamped or engraved on my PC 1911's bushing.

2014 PC1911RB Does not have the Briley stamp either. It is the Briley patented bushing however.
