Random Object Photographs

This is a closeup of a relative rarity among original 1911A1 pistols. It's a mint condition Union Switch & Signal example, produced in 1943 with its "Du-Lite" bluing. I acquired this early in my collecting hobby, when such guns had not gone through the stratosphere in prices demanded and paid. Pictures of this particular gun can be found in the 2003 Gun Digest, in my article on 20th Century United States military .45 caliber handguns.

Spent a few days camping with a good friend. Actually my best friend.
Moved in next door back in December 1963.

We bought RVs to use as base camps while we go exploring on our ATVs. :D

We camped at 9000 ft and the morning temps were perfect.
Here it is July and the furnace kicked on during the night.

It was my friends birthday. :)
This is where we decided to have lunch.

We camped in Murdock Basin located in the Uinta Mountains, Wasatch National Forest here in Utah.

There are over 400 lakes up here. Its a beautiful area and its only 200 miles from home.

Another perfect spot for lunch.

Its pretty rocky and slow going at times but well worth the trip.

The views are spectacular.

Little Deer Creek Falls

It was a really nice time. ;)

I washed my ATV AGAIN. LOL
I call it The Blue Lizard to remind me to put on my Blue Lizard sunscreen. ;)

Its a 2014 so I've had it for a few years now.
Mileage and hrs are the like riding it from the west coast to the east coast, back to the west coast them back to the east coast at 11.41 mph. :D

This is my 9 year old granddaughter and her pets. :D

She also has a healthy Dubia roach colony to feed her Bearded Dragon.

She starts small roach colonies from her's and sells them and she sells roaches to other pet stores.

Her mother manages a reptile pet store in Oregon.
She's really cool! She's a roach farmer for her bearded dragon! What does she feed her snake? That's quite a snake she has there. I'm impressed. I happen to like snakes [emoji2]

She feeds her snake a rat. I think once a week but can't remember for sure.

The pet store my daughter works at pays her $10/hr to separated their roaches by size to sell.

They have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit, 1 snake, 2 or 3 lizards and stick bugs.

And 5 kids. LOL

And recently they fostered 3 kittens that needed to be bottle fed until they found them homes.
