At this time of year, I think of the big Saint Patrick's Day bashContainer ship leaving Port of Savannah.
Of course! The photographer is on Roosevelt Island, right across the East River from New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center. That is the Queensboro bridge to the south.
My doctors are about 800 feet west of the photographer, at Memorial Sloan Kettering, seen in lower photo, far left edge of photo, taller building behind the building in the foreground.
That island is not exactly on the beaten path for most people. I took this photo in January. It shows the location on Roosevelt Island where the photographer was standing.
