Yes, another Bad Bird Picture!
He’s big, he’s White, and he is a lonely Soldier Far From Home.
It’s a Tundra Swan down at the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge.
Only one I ever saw!

I went to Las Vegas Thursday and bought this Lincoln.
It really was owned by a little old lady.
This morning is the first time its been covered with snow. LOL

So I walk out of the Bosque del Apache Visitor Center.
I look up in a tree and see this Pretty Boy.
Hey! I’m not really a bird photographer !
But I can’t pass up a guy looking this good!

Summer is Finally Here!

Well, I know it's really not. We've just had some pretty nice weather for a change. Sunny days and the temp actually hit 63! My wife and I headed to one of our favorite places, the Neahkahnie viewpoint, which is a whopping 20 minutes away:

Here’s a display on a shelf by my favorite chair. It’s of a couple of projects of mine.



I had the slipcase made for the book, which was published as a paperback in 1921 and is the first use of the term School of Paris to describe the émigré artists active in Paris in the early 20th century. The slipcase is a replica of the cover of he book, with white and red reversed.

The glass flask and shot glasses are part of a set hidden in what looks like a large book. The book box is falling apart and I currently have it, and the matching flask, with a restorer of old books. I think it was likely made during prohibition.

What a pesky tree rat that took 7200 volts looks like. Killed that circuit and the one above. Many people out of power until repairs were made.
