A little cutie

Love the young Highlander! I used these as my momma cows for several years for my beef customers. Covered them with a lowline angus/mini hereford cross bull and the outcome was excellent for all natural no grain but grass fed and finished beef. Smaller framed but very feed efficient and easier on the pasture. Besides, they preferred to shelter outside so the loafing shed stayed cleaner! I did let them grow an extra year but that was not a problem on the farm I was using.

Lights.

The two boats I worked on.
1st is a 66' Pacemaker. I lived on her for 14 years. 4 1/2 years as 1st mate, 9 1/2 years as captain.
Here we're entering Narragansett Bay heading to Newport, RI for the summer. Photo taken by a friend from his boat.

2nd is a 85' Mathis Trumpy. Pic taken from deck of the Pacemaker. I worked on her part time for 3 summers when I was first starting as mate for the experience.
Photo in Annapolis, Md.
