We have the real thing here. I set up a trail camera at the back of my neighbour's property to keep track of the wildlife wandering around behind the electrified fence. A mother and 3 cubs recently knocked down a hazlenut tree and it's become a favourite snack place for them and the squirrels.

Back in the days when we lived in Switzerland, we were always impressed by the bicycle mounted troops of the Swiss Army, sometimes startling us as they'd swoop silently past us. Sadly, twenty years ago, they were disbanded, but they were reinstated ten years ago, after the general staff realized the fitness and tactical benefits they brought to the table in a country with 40,000 miles of maintained trails.

I pass by this old cabin every week on my way to work. Its
hidden back in the trees so I doubt that very many people ever
even see it.
I thinks its an awesome old cabin and have takes a lot of
pictures of it.
I stop, park and walk across the HWY and walk down the
embankment to get to the cabin.
I have a few pictures of my truck and camper coming back to it too.

I thought I had it on this iPad, but can’t find it.
Up in -where? Utah, that’s where I saw an old Dugout House on private property.
Just down the road I saw a super well organized maintained Ranch named the Dugout Ranch.
I didn’t know it’s a well known near famous place.
I do now!

NE of here is Madrid, NM.
It’s former Coal Mining Town, then a Hippie Haven, now a Arts -Crafts town.
Interesting place, so is their Cemetery.
They have a shall we say Unusual Section.
Lots of Arty Monuments.
This one is my Favorite.
It’s a Raven about 2 feet long.
Appears to be made from Hog Wire.
Painted Black, add some eyes, attach to stump.

Very interesting. Must be a story there, ike the connection between the raven and Nancy Hawkins (the name on the plate).

I would like to drive Spring Mountain one of these days... haven't had the opportunity and a lot of their calendar is taken by the Fellows schools.

I was in the class on Monday and Tuesday. What a great experience, well worth the money. You stay with the same car all the time there.
The instructors were fantastic, every one of them.
The track we drove on was, if I remember, 2.3 miles of twisties with a few short straightaways.
Lots of other shorter events, figure eights, skid pad, autocross, launch control.
The skid pad was interesting with the nanny electronics shut off, then back on. Weather mode works great in iffy conditions.
I would not do launch control (left foot down hard, very hard on the brake pedal, right foot pressing the gas pedal to the floor, then releasing both at the same time) on my own car but it was fun on theirs.
Learned a lot about the electronics of the car for optimum performance.
It was darn hot, 95+ every day. But a dry heat.
Spent 3 more days @Caesars in Vegas. A fun trip, eating our way down the strip.
This guy took me on the track as a passenger, he had me white knuckled the whole way.
Forgot to mention, you get a 32 SD card with all recordings for all the excercises. Track, skidpad, autocross, etc
