I went to the range for the first time with my 15-22 and chose to shoot Remmington Thunderbolts since they seemed like the crappiest of the ammo I have and wanted to get rid of them. (I have some Tulammo, Geco, and Remmington golden) All of the thunderbolts seemed to be loose in the shell so I wasn't expecting much.

I was able to group at about 1.5" at 30 yards from a sitting position with a cheap red dot reticle. I was actually shocked how well I was able to group, considering it was my first time, crappy ammo and it was raining. All in all, I'm happy with my $500 investment. There were a few AR15 5.56mm rifles out there and I have to admit I was a bit envious, but I can go to the range and shoot for an hour and it costs me less than $25 to hear the same "tink" down range made up for it.

About 250 rounds and two failure to extracts. Other than that, they ran fine. I could tell that about 5 or so rounds were less than quality. I had to look just to make sure the round fired and extracted because the pop simply wasn't the same.

That's pretty much the same experience I've had w/ them. Some here don't seem to believe they'll group that well, but my rifle seems to like them just fine. Kinda dirty, and every now and them one doesn't sound quite right, but they make some nice little holes.

I might have been able to group better. But after the first few rounds, I made adjustments to my red dot and the target fell down. Then when i was finally able to get it back up, it looked like I was dead on and hit a few bullseyes at 30 yards. Then the rain and sleet started and I just wanted to empty a few magazines not really caring or seeing clear through my sight. Rapid fire, I was hitting about 2" away from center at around 7-8 o'clock. If I can hit 8" target at 30 yards consistently, I'm happy.

50 yards, same day, same rifle, same target, back to back 10 shot groups off a rest.

What are we supposed to do now? Argue about how accurate or not T-bolts are for various individuals?

That discussion started in post #2. I'm just continuing it. :)

My 15-22 shoots any brand of ammo. I can't really say which is more accurate. Too many variables and frankly I'm a lousy shot. I just have fun...
