Thank God. What a political S Show.
I doubt if the young man can be at ease though. I'm sure "you know who's" will try to find something like a civil rights charge or something else to try and make an example of him.
Basically the whole attempt is to try and make America like the UK where it's almost impossible to defend yourself with a firearm.

The jury did their job to the best of their abilities. Remember that it took them 3.5 days to decide - it was a close thing.

Wait now for the civil case for wrongful death; the standard of proof is lower in civil cases, and hungry attorneys know Kyle collected about $1 million in defense donations - I suspect his trial team cost between $100k and $200k, so there's a pot of gold left.

I was reading some of the ignorant comments being made by the other side. Comments about how anyone can shoot people down in the street now, was the judge Kyle's grandfather, etc. etc. At least the justice system worked this time.

I suspect Kyle Rittenhouse will become fabulously wealthy once his lawyers begin to sue the people who have defamed him. Those who were especially egregious in this were most of the news networks. There were so many false accusations, misstatements of facts and ignorance of applicable law that those Rittenhouse lawyers will have a field day.

Oh, and a special razzberry to the prosecution lawyer who violated more than a few basic gun safety rules when he pointed a gun at others in the courtroom with his finger on the trigger. I suspect he violated a law somewhere that says it's a crime or misdemeanor to point a firearm at someone else if you are not in fear for your life or protecting someone in danger.

The real guilty parties in this case were never charged with a crime. It was inexcusable for the civil authorities in that town to allow things to get so out of control that rioting mobs figured it was okay to loot and burn, and non-LEO civilians decided they had to do something to stop it.

Government officials who don't want "vigilantes" on their streets can stop that from happening by doing their jobs.
