Thanks to the DVR, I started watching the game about half an hour after it started, and I fast-forwarded through all the pre-game ****. I almost stopped for the Anthem. Now I'm glad I didn't.

The half time show was awful, so far other than the football, the reading of the Declaration of Independence and Sam Elliot introducing the teams, nothing else has been up to par. I still can't believe they paired up Slash with the freak shows bouncing around on stage. They went from wardrobe malfunction to what ever it is I just watched.

A great rendition was done by a man at the Ronald Reagan 100th Birthday event earlier in the day.
The Super Bowl sucks anyhow with bread and circus atmosphere and money.No respect even for a bad attempt at the Anthem-talking,moving around no hand over heart.They should stick to some rock music which would be more fitting.
