Why don't the shooters save lives by shooting themselves first? Yep be a real coward shooting defenseless people.
If it was up to me I would say let the survivors all take shots at him at a firing line. If some were poor shooters that would be a plus. No blinfold, let him see a dozen rifles each with 25 round magazines pointing at him. Let the mass media show pictures of his dead body riddled with bullet holes laying beneath the shooters. That should be his day of fame.

Some reports saying 15 dead and the shooter in custody used a military assault rifle. Of course Beto jumped on the ban wagon for military type assault rifles.

I've skimmed through the cable news channels to see what's up with the El Paso Walmart shooting. Basicially, they're repeating over and over that they have no clue what's going on so they speculate and interview other people who don't have a clue. When FOX News interviewed a police officer in New Jersey so he could speculate, yes New Jersey, I turned off the TV.

If the media had one ounce of concern for America they would not show the name or picture of the shooter in El Paso. Most of these unstable perpetrators have one thing in common, they have identity issues and want to be made famous by their heinous crimes. Unfortunately, the main stream media feeds these monsters by glorifying them so all the wackos can emulate them and see who can beat the current body count "high score".

And you can be sure the tool will be blamed, (looks like a WASR10), instead of trying to understand why this country seems to be breeding these brain dead, techno, generation "me" 20 year olds with zero empathy for humanity.

Prayers go to victims and family members and friends.

We all know it is not the guns doing this, so the questions that beg to be answered are "What is wrong with people today? And, what is the fix?"
Our society did not have these problems (to this magnitude, anyway) when I was growing up. I know a lot has changed in the last fifty plus years.... Life comforts have increased, and society seems to be slipping into a Stygian pit. It saddens my heart when I think of how the next generation will be living. I hope I am wrong.

Praying for the families of the victims.

I went to HS in El Paso, and my wife was born there. I remember when Cielo Vista Mall (the site of the shooting) was built back in the 1970's.

Last thing I read was one dead, 22 injured. Like to know how they got injured. I'm sure the crack media are all over it.

Evening news says: young man, early 20s. Pictures show an AK type rifle in his hands. Brief mentions of "socialist" and a "manifesto". Taken into custody without incident. No shots fired by Police.
Oh great! He has a message he wants to spread and all the publicity he can get. I'll wager he plans on using his day in court to preach his beliefs.

Its not a gun problem, its a crazy problem. Thanks to government policies for at least the last 40 years, the American Dream is dead. Young people feel like there is no future for them, no hope. Some of them just can't deal with it and they crack. Then you end up with stuff like this.

I heard FOX confirm it was a AK-57 style weapon . . . yes, 57.

There's a picture of it in various platforms. Nobody gives a snot about the minutia. It's a gun, it fired when he pulled the trigger. We look like idiots and gun nuts when we proclaim "Oh, but that was a Glock 17, not a Glock 19 . . . " Give it up . . .
