My "shooter grade" registered magnum. I really love it. Not sure what adventures it had when it shipped to an exporter to Mexico, but it clearly led a rough life. Has an extra hole in the top strap. The guy I bought it from said it was hanging from a nail in the shed of the house he bought, and figured someone at the gun show might want it. I really didn't know what a registered magnum was at the time, just that any functional S&W .357 magnum was worth $150, and that the sight couldn't really be that hard to find. Two years later I had the rear sight for it, thanks ebay!

Rick, What is the "imposter"?

Kevin

That 22-4 of 2009 vintage.

It's got classic lines but has no soul. I like it just the same. It's a phenomenal shooter, has perfect balance, and is light enough to make a fine carry piece.

I'd have to say it'd be my 4" TL. Figure it was shipped in 1909. Mean to get a letter for it as soon as I can. It isn't mint, but it sure is pretty and lots of character.

That is a BEAUTIFUL revolver! If you letter it, please post the info.

I have its' younger brother ( Wolf & Klar Model of 1926 3rd Model) from 1930. A sweet shooter!! I added the proper period stocks after this pic was taken......

That's what I thought seeing the off center S&W on the barrel. There is a blued one in my photo. If I were to pin on a badge again, that is the revolver I would use, or maybe one nickled like yours.

Enjoy it!

I've had it for a few years and it's not going anywhere.

It does carry quite nicely in a pancake style holster.

Despite the size it's so far the most comfortable.

Rear sight

I have a rear sight for the model 27 that is brand new and might be interested in selling. It says it fits the 3.5 and 5 inch guns not sure if it would fit your longer barrel. Does anyone know much about the rear sights?

Shooting my N frames

I am going to shoot my Model 58 this sat. morning at our shoot and have been shooting my new model 27 and have seven other guns that I shoot and enjoy. My Local Gunsmith who is a great friend as well will be shooting and works on all, my guns. I do also have three K frames I enjoy and they are &22 and Model 17 and my carry piece a 340PD in 357 magnum. I am pretty well covered.I am waiting for my 5 screw 1950 which will be here soon. And my other two 1983 model 24's are some of my favorites.

.45 Long Colt

Had to take better pictures to do this heirloom proud.
Not a "safe queen", but as close to BBQ bling as it gets.

My M28, the last revolver that I carried on-duty plainclothes. I qualified with it every qualification, even on the Service semi-auto course of fire. I had a gunsmith round-butt the grip; install a set of front/rear atomic sights; smooth the trigger face; and do a ¨light¨trigger job. A fine shooter. The Boss had to pry it out of my hand with a special memo to me saying that ONLY the Service issued semi-auto was now authorized.
