SHOW your Colors!

When I first joined this site & saw the NRA I had to have it proudly displayed. I don't technically have a life membership but at my age a one year membership could very likely be a lifetime, lol.

Not to change the subject other than icons - I was in the Navy AND the Army. How can I get both to show? Not a big deal, though. I spent the better part of my life in the Army whereas only 6 years in the Navy.

Sorry, but you can only have one.
THANKS for your service.

I hope everyone who is a gun owner and believes that we should protect the rights we have should join the NRA. Its important people. And be active in emailing and calling your politicians.

Also I wish there was a symbol on here for military wives. Proud USMC wife here. :)

I get interesting looks when people see the back of my car. I don't feel any conflict between the "green" idea and shooting. I'm of the opinion that hunters and shooters are the original environmentalists because we want to preserve the areas where we shoot and hunt.

Due to the price of ammunition, DO NOT expect a warning shot!!!!

Great timing on this post!

My NRA membership came in the mail today.

The NRA must be really busy processing new members these days, because I submitted my NRA membership and applied for a Washington State CPL on the same day. The CPL came in the mail last week and that took every bit of the 30-days allowed by law to to process a CPL application. It's really no big deal, but I was surprised that the NRA took longer to come through than the State of Washington.

Just remember HOW MANY new memberships AND membership upgrades they've had to process in the last few months. :D

I joined the NRA online on Jan 1, 2013. Got my membership packet about 5 weeks later. I'm still waiting on the NRA "shooters cap" that was advertised. The caps must be on backorder, like everything else these days.

Well, to follow up on my previous post, my NRA shooters cap (100% cotton, made in China) finally came in the mail today. It only took 5.5 months from when I first joined the NRA. The cap arrived just in time to wear to the ISRA Range open house this Saturday.
