Commments on these appreciated. Trying to find one that is a litte thinner also.

By the way, I have the M&P 45c and like it, but seem to like the looks of the CS 9.

another vote for the CS9 or 3913. You will never regret it! I think the 3913 is still the finest CC gun made by anyone!

Have you looked at the Kel Tec PF9? Much better gun than the P11, IMHO, and very concealable. Ifc the P11 were the only choice, I would agree, "no Kel Tecs".

I have shot the PM9 and the 9c. I personally don't like the Kahr. It had a lot of recoil and was kind of painful to shoot; I didn't really like the fit & finish very well either. It's much smaller and lighter and more concealable than the 9c, but you have to weigh the size against accuracy and your comfort level firing it. After firing the Kahr, I realized that there's a reason why most 9's aren't as small as it is. The 9c is a great gun and definitely as small as I want to go.

The best thing to do is try shooting both before you buy.

I have carried literally dozens of guns over the years, and at the moment, my MP9c is my favorite. It is thin for a double stack, and with the extended base plate on the magazine, gives me enough room for a full grip. It shoots nicely, carries easily in an IWB holster (CompTac Pro Undercover), and is quite accurate. I prefer something this size over the micro sized Kahr, because it gives me a better feel, like I have more control. It handles like a larger pistol, if that makes any sense. I chose the MP9c originally because my dept. issues the MP9 and I wanted the same operating system, but I would honestly say that I would pick the MP9c on its own merits.
