The archery shop I frequent in Tampa goes to that show with an 18 wheeler they use for selling archery stuff. Big time operation. They cancelled the trip. I heard most of the archery companies are also bailing out.

Even if Reed backs down and "allows" the MSR back in, people should still not return until the Mayor issues an apology.
Just like the paid exhibitors told Reeds of their displeasure, the local business should also express their displeasure with Reeds. No major show can operate without the support of local businesses.
Yes, a bunch of local businesses (hotels, motels, transportation, bars, eating establishments, etc) all benefit from big trade shows. They will also be hurt when their local politicians make the customers feel unwelcome. Those local business need to put the heat on the mayor. Tell her that she is huring their business to the tune of $10s of millions.
The mayor is a hypocrite. She wants our money but doesn't like our viewpoint or the constitituion she probably took an oath to uphold...
There are other cities where firearms owners are welcome .
I read at another site (not gun site) but cannot confirm it that over 150 vendors have pulled out of that show!
Hopefully it won't NEED to happen again.
As the Chinese say, "Kill the chicken to scare the monkey."
A lot of anti-gun monkeys just had a come to Darwin moment.
I don't agree with the antis but they won. They got a slam dunk too.
Not only are ARs not being displayed….. nothing is being displayed.
Hopefully someone will organize a show to replace what was canceled.
