SNOW, SNOW AND MORE SNOW

It's snowing in Las Vegas! And it's starting to stick. By morning we may have a couple or three inches :).

Nevada DOT had issues with snow and ice this week and are now saying that they will have 2 snow plows and 250 tons of snow go available for tomorrow !

It was almost 90 degrees here today. Warmest February I recall have ever experienced in my 30 years in Florida. Its going to be a brutal summer, when its already this hot, this early.

About 10 inches yesterday, the smoker and grill are covered deep. 4wd truck with taller , skinner snow treads and sand tubes in back keep me going. The taller/skinner don't work well in deep sand.

46 and sunny here in the desert but rain coming again Thursday. We don't get snow here but we have been getting a lot of rain this winter and people out here aren't used to driving on wet roads. They have been getting a good bit of snow in northern AZ and our water table is expected to rise back close to normal after the melt off but we'll see.

Yep! It's raining as I type this. However, we should have a wildflower explosion on the desert come April! In the meantime the pear tree in our front yard!!

It is still February and here in the Reno Nevada hills.............

we are already at 150% of our snow pack !!

Can't wait to see what the next two snow months give us.
Todays low 13 with a high of 35 if lucky.

Glad to see you guys getting the snow; here's hoping it stays up there a while. I remember the great Reno flood in 1997; that was a disaster.

We've been in the 70s a lot this winter, nice now but this summer will be rough. Oh well, I guess that's what the water and air conditioning is for.
At least in Pensacola you get a breeze off the Gulf; I am north of Tallahassee; LOTS of dead air this past summer; heat and NO breeze.

Ditrina;

Last trip down to Fla. we were in that very place, renting a place
just like yours, while eight of us went to Disneyland.

I went up to the main pool to enjoy the bar and some special mixes, to beat the heat after the 3-4 block walk, while the girls went shopping.

Great location.

Well OK, I admit it. Maybe we do occasionally get a little snow in Arizona;) Stuck my 4WD truck in the driveway yesterday. Took two of us about two hours to dig it out. Just to get it back in the garage. Still too much white stuff on the road to be able to get out of my driveway. Even the local WallyWorld closed, but supposed to reopen today.
