well its been a forgone conclusion and just a matter of time before the bans would expand (other then what we have seen in NY) This whole anti gun movement was never about the " Evil Black Assault Weapon" its always been about ALL guns. The AR was just the easy target to get the ball rolling. There are so many gun bills up for vote in so many states that it so so hard to keep track of any of them. Lucky the only gun related debate to be sparked in my state was by a news paper that wanted to publish the names of those with CCW permits. That was ended quickly and a vote passed to keep that info private until April which will allow enough time to put a bill permanently on the books. Our governor has stated that no gun control bills would be signed into law that came across his desk and being that hunting is such a huge part in this state ( meaning a gun ban of anytype would be dropping a match into the powder keg) it would almost be political suicide to submit a bill as such unless in the very most liberal parts of the state where the votes to keep their seat would be assured.
