The humble .38 Special Airweight J-frame.

So what do you all think about the Airweight J's?

Centennial every day. :)

After starting with a blue 36, a nickel 37 & a blue 38,
all long gone (MISTAKE), I have these.
I went from steel, to Airweight, to Scandium
and back to the 640 (38).
LOVE my J's.
All are loaded with Corbon DPX 115+P's,
except the 351C (CCI Gold Dot Short Barrel 22 Mag)
ALWAYS in a Mika Pocket Holster.

Yes, no help from fellow J-frame junkies on this thread. Macinaw, I see you've got Ergo grips on the one at far left. What's your take on these grips?

Yep, another Airweight junkie. Wifey carries a 642 and I have a M&P 360. But I won't let go of our all steel J-frames. :)

I know they (Ergo Grips)are ugly. But, they point naturally and don't print because of the tapered end. There is a current thread about them with more information.

While waiting for the Ergo grips, this is my current 642 configuration. Smooth walnut Altamonts and a Tyler T.
