The new 586

I have not seen a new one, but I did pick this -2 up about 6 months ago, just because this in the first 586 I've seen local in a very long time. If the $1000 is close, I did pretty good on this one. I like the bluing on this but is just a little different from the M&P from 1949 that I have. The blueing on this has more shine and a little bit different color.

The reason American manufacturers cannot produce the old, Beautiful, lustrous blues of uesteryear is due solely to our "betters" at the EOA. They are also responsible for the transfer of production for all sorts of old, once stalwart segments of industry- enameled cast iron, barrel chroming, amazingly fuel efficient, ultra reliable diesel powered vehicles, etc.- to communist China and other less than friendly nations.
