Actually it's add "es" to any word-ie: pantses, ghostses,just add a s to any word and you got it! my favorite is deers!

Not sure anyone misspelt it in the first place. Most were trying to spell "knifes," and did a fairly good job of it.I'll bet anyone that reads thread will never misspell knives again.
