There's already 10 inches of global warming out there, and...

Base of the Cascades on the eastside. Only one snow storm (really, just flurries). All melted. Got rain right about Christmas (rain?, in December?). Backyard is dry of snow and clear (normally covered from Thanksgiving to Easter). Temps up to the 40's last week. Above freezing yesterday. Geese have hung around all winter instead of migrating south.

Average temps for the first two weeks of January are in the single digits (days) with3-4 days below zero.. It only got down to 19 F last night.

VERY definitely warmer here!

Bear, where are you at? I'm outside of Leavenworth, WA.

one good thing about the below zero temps. it usually doesn't snow when it's that cold.

Here in St. Louis County we have about 7" and still falling. I'm not too worried about the snow, it's the 10 below zero temps predicted for tonight. Tomorrows predicted high is 2 degrees.

Amazing isn't it.....Missouri 10 below, we got about 11 inches in JC.....I hate the white stuff. My little dog goes out does her job on the shoveled back walk and looks at me like..."Are you Crazy"

Al Gore, who is that? O yea the guy that live in the enormous house, and tells the rest of us how to live. I heard of him!!! Al Gore is here to prove God does have a sense of humor!

With all this frigid weather I imagine the inventor of the internet must be pretty embarrassed.

Gonna be fun round here in the am, looks like freezing rain up to this point which will make for no end to the fun trying to clea of any snow that lands on top of it. Good news is I work at home and the kid's school is closed bad news is the wife works Monday mornings so I'll be out there anyway.
Freezing rain-now you're talking!!! Drove in it twice-what do they call it, black ice I think. you've never experienced anything like being in a car with no control sliding slowly down the road-Hmmmmmm...what am I gonna hit??????
