Thinking about a MP15-22 just so

What size 10 Shot Groups are the Norm

There were some threads a while back regarding 15-22 accuracy including target group pics. IIRC, there were no sub MOA groups at 50 yards, and most groups came in between 2-4MOA at 50 yards.

for those who have sent back your 15-22, does smith let you know when it might get back? like an email or something? They say you have to sign for it and i want to make sure i am here

My 15-22 came back from S&W unannounced. I was fortunate to be available to sign for the package.

i got my 15-22 at Academy, so they sent it off for me, and s&w returned it there for me. I just called s&w alot and tried to get the latest info on it, and one day when i called, they said it was sent back, and gave me the tracking #

forsyth 793,
Shooting Federal 710s at 25 yds using iron sights and benchrest my group was one ragged hole just uder an inch in diameter. Moving back to 50 yards groups opend up somewhat to over an inch to almost 2 inches. At 100 yards here's a photo. Remember I was using iron sights combined with 63 yo eyes. With a decent optic the groups would be substantially smaller. My particular rifle shot Federal 710s very well.

I asked the customer service manager about this as well. He stated that they do not "routinely" notify people that the rifle has been shipped. You, personally, do not have to sign for the shipment but it must be signed for by an adult.

Here's the part that may help out: I asked if it could be shipped to my place of employment as I live in the sticks and no one is ever around to sign. He said that would be fine as long as an adult (there's the tough part) signs for the shipment.

Hello forum members. I've been reading your posts for the last week or so and have decided to take the plunge. After first checking out the Umarex Colt and dismissing that, I handled the Sig. While it might be a nice gun, it just isn't the same. My dealer says I should have mine within a week or so. With ammo prices the way they are, shooting this should fit the bill. I have too many targets sitting around collecting dust. Thanks for your informative input.
