Thinking about a MP15-22 just so

Now there, are two sane and reasonable posts, and I enjoyed both of them. :)

Let me chime in here. Bought my 15-22 about a month ago. As of today I have fired close to 1000 rds through it. I had one "stovepipe" round which I am 99% sure was caused by my loading of the mag. This rifle is so much fun to shoot that the only thing I don't like is how often the mags empty themselves! I am convinced that methodical one round at a time mag loading will cure a lot of what ails ya with this S&W. Now to be fair, I have not put any Remington through it and probably won't just because others seem to have had issues. CCI and Federal have worked flawlessly for me. As far as I am concerned at least, Bubba can troll somewhere else cause i love my rifle!

Here's a solution to AR 15-22 problems:
Click on "User CP" at top of page.
Scroll down to "Edit ignore list"
Click, then type in "Bubbaturbo"
Click "OK"
Shut off computer, take AR 15-22 to the range, enjoy life.

Bubba goes back down Mom's basement, finds other people to annoy.

Glad you are enjoying your 15-22. Putting Remington ammo in a semi auto is like putting bad gas in your vehicle. Why do it.

After putting 99 flawless rounds of (left-over) Remington plated round nose ammo through my 15-22 a couple days ago I have no complaints about their ammo......so far. I haven't tried the Golden Bullets yet so the jury is still out on those.

All I know is only 1 stove-pipe (FTF) in 100 rounds is a very acceptable failure rate for any 22lr. :D

15-22 love it

:D
Bought one. It blew up in my face.
Not happy, no injury just very messy.
Sent it back, got it fixed.
Now it shoots like crazy......

Not the best expierence of purchasing a new gun but stuff
happens. S&W fixed it fast. Now it works great.
400 rounds down the pipe today.

You HAVE TO CAREFULLY LOAD THE MAGS.
Just as instructed in the manual, one at a time.
I had one issue today and I knew it has going to happen
because I saw it in the mag. They have to alternate or it will be a problem. It would be nice if SW makes adjustments for this or someone makes a aftermarket fix.

If I needed another one I would buy it in a minute
(I would wait for a later production run so it would not hae to go back for repair).

Congrads on getting your gun back Steel!!! You are right about loading the mags very carefully, and how they are a load of fun!!!1

If the gun wont run this or that ...THAN SW should state that...in this small town you buy what you can get...My GSG - 5 runs whatever!!!GO ahead and flame the hell out of me!!!

No flame here, glad your gun runs all ammo. It is great we have choices. I would rather have a picky 15-22 that I can identify what it shoots well, than a GSG.

I really dont care WHO made the product...IF it WORKS it works if it dont IT DONT....get over it...I was supposed to get a pickup from SW over 10 days ago via USPS still is not here...now THATS customer service!!! I have other SW products and they work great but I am not going to blow smoke up anyones butt...My 15-22 is JUNK!!

Great news 32hibo! :)

Glad you love your new 15-22!

Well this is how it is. You have made 12 posts on this forum crying about your rifle. You were going to take it to a gun show and sell it. Now you are waiting on USPS?

Too bad this forum doesn't have a BS flag, as I would be raising it about now. S&W uses FedEx to ship their guns. So I think you are here on the forum just to stir up ****.

Hmm my 15-22 has no problems with any type of ammo so far, and I've used the cheapest, crappiest ammo there is. I love my 15-22 it's an awesome, reliable rifle.

Oh and LoL at the GSG-5, ATI was sued by H&K and the GSG-5 production will be no more as of Jan. 2010 haha... Can't wait for H&K to make an actual decent .22 MP5 clone!

Beck! :) hoo haa!

Smart man, you are.

Now, now, children. The park ranger said not to feed the trolls. Otherwise they grow big and nasty. Now run along and play with your nice functional 15 22s. Jeez, this has been running 6 pages long. Why can't we all get along?

Yes indeed, "get over it". Have you ever heard of the phrase... Physician, heal thyself.

Please let it go. Don't try to provoke conflict anymore please. You wont change the mind of someone like that, and I am sure you know that.

Please just talk guns now. That's what I am going to do. The past is the past.
