I know no words can ease your loss ,
but know that all Americans owe your son, and are grateful for his bravery and his service to this country.

I saw this the day you posted it and just by the words I knew what it was before I ever opened it...and I am sorry but I have been at a loss for words...
Your son is a true a hero because he was willing to die to help keep the rest of us free....and we as Americans can never repay him...or you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I can truly sympathize with you as we have lost two brothers-in-law and my wife's father since July of this year. Although none were active military, the pain is the same. I will pray for you and your family.

My prayers and sympathies are with you & your family. As a retired soldier currently working at Fort Lewis, I know of the sacrifices our soldiers and their families in the service of our country. Please know, from my foxhole, your stepson did not die in vain, but in protecting our citizens and way of life.
