TTSH What 3rd gen did you see at the show?

I’m inspired but the stock market isn’t cooperating a bit. :(
Oh, tell me about it! :( Living solely on Social Security and what I dare take out of my pitiful, dwindling little rollover IRA each month, I know how you feel. :o Yesterday was brutal beyond words. :o

Just today, I made the hard decision to give up the "Christmas Bonus" distribution I normally give myself every December to pay for family presents and other seasonal expenses. :(

I guess I'm also fortunate that an offer I made on a gun for sale in the classified before yesterday's crash was not accepted. Sad as it was, it is beginning to look like it might have been a blessing in disguise. :o Only time will tell.

So I feel your pain Brother Jeppo. :o Better times will return. Just can't tell when. :)

TTH look at the market in the past month. Its like a seesaw. Yesterdays fall will be tomorrows gain. The big hit was was October but how can you be such a dooms day the Dow is up 31% since this time 2016. You can't focus on the short term gains if you want to stay sane!

Indeed, the last new high for my little IRA was hit on 8/29/2018 with a couple near highs again on 10/1-3/2018. The current crash began on 10/4/2018 and I've been hurtin' ever since. :o I track it daily if not hourly. :o My budget is that tight. I was encouraged by some nice regaining of some losses over the past week or so... :) ... but yesterday's crash took those gains away again. :( It does not matter to me that the Dow is up XX percent since YYYY year. I'm long retired and live off my SS plus monthly IRA distributions which means I have lived off most of those historical gains already.

But I am not complaining. I have a new plan to get through Christmas and I won't even miss one meal (which I really should being so overweight!). :)
