Ok fess up, who started this rumor?

They once were part of my hunting survival kit. Even when smashed in a coat pocket or back pack they were edible.

Don't know what's happening but the Hostess website says nothing about them being discontinued, again. Geez, I hope not. How else am I going to give my primary care doctor a coronary other than by telling him my glucose levels are high because the night before the blood draw I ate two Twinkies at 2:00 AM. I guess an alternative would be two Jack-in-the-Box Taco's............ hardcase60

Twinkies are in the same class of "food" as individually wrapped American "cheese", non-dairy whipped topping, spray-can "cheese" and Miracle Whip. Their inventors should be drowned in them.

I don't think anyone would really want to know what's in them.
When I was a little kid I would ride up to the corner store and buy a banana flip. It was basically a round twinkie folded over and filled with a banana cream filling. Oh those were good.

BANANA FLIP !! Food of the Gods. I haven't inhaled one in many moons. Are "Flips" still made

Ive never eaten a Marine before. Yes I know--lame. Ive heard from a Maine yankee friend of mine that Devil Dogs go well with Moxie. Ive never seen or had any.

Actually I wont eat Twinkies anymore because their made in Mexico and You can never be sure whats really in them.

Living in NJ we can CC Twinkies, you've all heard of the Twinkie defense right?

But really, I wouldn't use the current crop for a door stop, they are lousy.

Hostess fruit pies are also on my never buy again, maybe they drag an apple through the factory but there's no fruit in the pie.

It's treason, I tell ya, there ought to be a law.
