I personally have a mod 27 that has 1000ds of rounds down the pipe and it is cleaner than that one, The only way to tell that a well cleaned 357 was fired is the flame cutting,
It wasent even cleaned well!

A whole lot of pictures, but none of the top strap showing lack of (or not) of flame cutting.

I don't have a gunbroker account, maybe someone who does can ask him to post a pic of the top strap.

Well, it's unfired if we're talking about it using 22 lr, 25 ACP, 32 S & W, 380, 41 Magnum and so on and so on .......

Notice the quotations around "unfired" and "mint". Or is it "near mint"?

Maybe he means NIB and unfired by you?

Not NIB, not unfired, not worth $1200.00.

If two gunsmiths said it was NIB, then make the seller tell their names and talk directly to them.

If they persist, have them sign affidavits under penalties of perjury. I am willing to bet they won't do that!

I would not do business with these people.

Ridiculous claims are made on Gun broker every day. Why should anyone care beyond having PErsonal interest in the auction?

Caveat Empror , Buyer Beware.

If you don't know the difference ,OR can't trust the seller , ,DON'T BID. Period.

Isn't it against the Forum rules to post links to live auctions on threads? Just asking.

Regards ,,AL
Because it's a friendly forum and we like to have a little fun with stuff like this. Because some "newb" may have learned a lesson here without getting burned. And Bob didn't post a "link", so no forum rules have been broken.

I would have to say it is definetly fired, not just by the factory. It looks like he has modified his listing with a comment about the "reserve" being $795.00, if you bid this high you win the gun. Personally still to high for me.

No personal interest whatsoever. Why, is that your gun? If you see some outlandish claim, you wouldn't post it? And what is the motive in your post?

Anybody looking at the cylinder face or recoil shield can tell that the gun has been shot. Not that it matters but I believe that the auction says that the gun was inspected by two other "dealers", not gunsmiths.

Anyway........

He doesn't say "gun dealers". Used car dealers? Drug dealers?
