I have a Utah CFP and live in Maryland...I understand I cannot carry in Pa. unless I reside in Pa. (They won't honor the Utah CFP) I must obtain a Pennsylvania CFP. Is this true?

According to NRA-ILA reciprocity map, Pa and Ut entered into an agreement on 6/28/2014. You can check Pa's website or call State police to verify. Be Safe,

Gary: He is not asking about getting a Pa permit, he wants to use his Utah permit resident or non-resident it should still be valid in Pa. The agreement has nothing to do with Pa non resident permits. Yes if he wanted a non resident Pa permit he would have to have one from Maryland his state of residence. If you look at Pa penal code you will find that they honor ( out of state non resident permits ) they just will not issue a non resident permit if you do not have the permit in your home state. I lived in Pa for 37 yrs before moving to Mi and I had a resident than a non resident Pa permit till Mi was excepted in all the same places that I would travel. Be Safe,

Arizona, Florida, Maine, Mississippi, Utah and Virginia. They have agreements that specifically states “Legal Resident of AZ, FL, ME, MS, UT and VA. You can read all the agreements Here Crime: Protecting Pennsylvania Against Crime - Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General

AZ, FL, ME, MS, UT and VA Permit/Licenses issued to non-residents are no longer valid in PA.

The PA AG has been signing new agreements specifically stating only Resident permits. SHe has the authority by law to sign agreements and they specifically state Resident only.

Gary/Cal Thank You for the info, I had not seen that it was broken down to resident/non-resident permits. Thank You, Be Safe,
