Just finished 5 weeks of transition courses for my officers and the M&P was a huge hit. We developed a 16 hour transition course to include our new Safariland ALS holsters and it was a huge success. We are trading in all of 3913 and 4006's at some point so keep your eyes open on the surplus dealer market (I have no idea who is buying the used guns) early in 2009.

It is by far one of the best duty guns I have ever used. Only suggestion is give your gun a good cleaning before your first to the range ( pretty much common sense). The ALS holsters are awesome.
