The Wallstreet Journal has said that the St. Louis Cardinals are the most hated team in baseball. Mainly because of the number of pennants won and World Series appearances in the last 10 years. Also it's not helping that our fans are said to be the best in baseball.:confused:
Geez, whatcha gotta do?

When the experts speak:rolleyes:, ya gotta just man up and take it.;):D

I love the Cardinals and despise the Cubs.....the most pitiful franchise in the game!

It's easy to be a "good fan" if your team wins all the time.

CUBS FANS are the best in baseball, pal!
I am a Cardinals fan, and I am sick of the whole "best fans in baseball" talk regarding Cards fans. Realistically and regrettably, I don't think they will get past the Dodgers this year unless their hitting suddenly improves dramatically.

I was a fan in the 70's when they won nothing. Forgive the Cards for not learning how to sucessfully lose decade after decade.

As far as Cubs fans, they indeed are the best loser fans in baseball. The highlight of Cubs fans during the season is when they beat the Cardinals. By the way, the Cubs have a winning record head-to-head against the Cards. Their only joy. Obviously, they have no joyful post-season highlights...unless you count bartman. Unfortunately, most have gone to their graves without ever winning a world series. I hope they continue their proud tradition as the best fans.

P.S. I still feel sorry for Ernie Banks.

P.S.S. The only thing Cubs-Cards fans can agree on is their appreciation of fine Smith & Wesson firearms.

True story

A young boy had to testify at the custody hearing during his parent's divorce. The judge asked, "Do you want to live with your mother?"

"No, she beats me."

So he asked, "Do you want to live with your father?"

"No, he beats me too."

So then he asked, "Well who do you want to live with?"

"The Cubs. They don't beat anybody."

GO REDBIRDS!

I disagree. I dont even think the Cards are the most hated team in their division, let alone all of MLB.

I'm from Oklahoma but I like to watch the Cards. My wife and I went to the old Bush stadium and watched them play the Cubs. It was the most fun atmosphere. Cubs and Cards fans talking smack but at no time did anyone get stupid with it. It was all in good fun.

When a team keeps coming out on top, they are going to have their haters.

GO CARDS!!!

Cards fans are also real baseball fans. Most reporters say the most knowledgeable in the game. I've seen our fans give uproarious standing ovations to great plays by the opposing team, pal!

Please note they are not talking about who is best, who has the best fans, most knowledge, etc..They are talking about who is most HATED - gotta be the Yanks. Saw a t-shirt the other day with the standard picture of Jesus with the clouds around his feet and the sun shining from behind him and he is surrounded by a heavenly glow - the caption below the picture "JESUS HATES THE YANKEES!"

Of course, the WSJ will pick the Cards - they are based out of NYC - DUH.

I agree that Jesus hates the Yankee's, but I firmly feel his daddy lost money on the Cubs in 1908 and he don't forget.....

I discovered the Cards and Baseball in the middle 1950's. Been a Cards fan ever since. Watched them play in all 3 of their stadiums. I have worn my Cards hat in Wriggly and the pregame beer thing at Huggy Bears. I think we treat
Cubs fans better than they treat us.
