With all due respect, you are going too far. Ethics matter.I've noticed a disturbing trend with Broccoli "Crowns". There used to be Crowns and I guess "Regular"? "Stalked" maybe? There were "Crowns" with no more than an inch of stalk, then the regular broccoli that has maybe a 5" or 6" stalk. Well the long stalk variety has disappeared from many stores and they just have "Crowns", but now they have a 3"-4" stalk. They don't look like the pictures on the self-checkout.
I whip out my EDC Boker Automatic and trim them off right there in the produce department. Mostly I get approving looks. But not from the produce guys.

Understand this boys, being cheap in some things is the reason we have so much extra money to blow on important things like guns, hunting stuff, fishing stuff and boats-life's necessities

I have a buddy who's so cheap, he brings scotch tape to gun shows. He uses it to fasten his $15 wristband so that he can easily remove it and sell it for 1/2 price.
