BAD EXPERIENCE WITH IT
Gun
STI 6" PPC 9mm 3.5# trigger press 10lbs recoil spring
115 grain loads about 1100 fps
trigger break on this gun is soft compared to my other 3.5 trigger Springer
I used the lighter stuff
I put it on the hammer/sear surface and the slide rails
Temp was 90s
gummed up the action enough to cause misfires with my reloads.
during practice match pause between stages, I was lent a can of brake cleaner....and I sprayed my gun. while it improved it function...still had misfires. definitely hurt my average.
took the gun home....detailed stripped....lubed with oil. ran 100% with the same reloads.
I will not use it on competition soft recoiling match guns.
make sure your gun works before carrying on duty or CCW with this stuff on.
