What is deadly?

I just watched an episode of "The Shift". A guy was robbed and shot with a .380 Auto (CCI brand ammo). Shot once in the chest. The 911 call was made immediately and the guy was dead before the first unit was on scene. The bullet made it to the heart, went through and through the heart and lodged in the spine.

So I go back to my original point of shot placement and not caliber being the #1 factor.

I nevah understood why the 9mm Makarov cartridge wasn't more popular. A little more punch and bigger around than the .380. I would buy a small five round wheelgun in the Mak if available w/3" barrel. Maybe Taurus would come out w/one. Instead of the British Bulldog it could be the Rhodesian Ridgeback...
