What is your Favorite non-S&W Handgun

One of my favorites, the GRAND POWER P11 MK12.

It will shoot DA, SA, or SAO.

It has a safety and a de cocker.

A Bulgarian Makarov PM in 9x18mm Makarov. Hey, it was this or my Mosin-Nagant 7.62x28R Model 1895 built at Tula in 1929.

Nobody posted one of these yet. My favorite non-S&W handgun has a bolt. It's more accurate than most of my rifles. :D

I don't know who built the stock or put it together, but it's pure elegance. The best seven clams I ever spent at the Cabela's gun library.

That looks like a Remington XP-100 in a custom stock. The shape of the bolt handle on the XP-100s is fairly recognizable

What cartridge is it chambered for?

It would be easy for me to jump on the BHP bandwagon, but the winner is the Colt Lawman MK III snub my then-fiance gave me to get me home to her at end of watch. She had little confidence in the Browning 1922 .32 I had been using as a BUG and off duty. Smart lady.

What a difference 2 days makes! New favorite non-S&W gun is a brand new black 2" Taurus 856! It has replaced my 2" S+W Model 12-2 which is 58 years old and showing some (!) wear for carry duty. The Model 12-2 weighs 18.8 ounces unloaded, and the 856 weighs 22.8 ounces unloaded, so the difference in weight is negligible. The 856, however, is rated for +P ammunition. So far controlability and accuracy are acceptable (not posting groups yet!), but I'm going to order Galloway springs for it and do some polishing when they get here. Also going to put laser grips on it and paint the front sight neon orange.

Favorite, as in the most beautiful and desired to obtain?
Definitely my newly acquired 4.25 Python and my 1969 T Series Hi Power.
I always wanted these guns.
The Python is simply the most beautiful handgun ever to be made.
The Belgian Hi Power is the most coveted to have in any collection to make it complete.

Like many others my favorite non Smith & Wesson handgun is the Hi-Power. Sure the trigger isn't great and the magazine safety is not my cup of tea...but and it is big but...The darn Hi-Power just feels so good in the hand. The first time you pick one up it is like an old comfortable well broken in pair of boots.

I love my C-Series Browning. The Springfield Armory SA35 sure has my interest and I may buy one has a house gun.

Like cowboy4evr I'm partial to revolvers in fact they are the only handguns that I have now.My favorite after my Smiths is a 1974 detective special that I've carried since I went on the job and got it (either off duty or as a backup). Its a pleasure to shoot and is as comfortable as an old pair of shoes. My duty gun was a 74 nickel python which I also loved but that belongs to my son now and will be my 10 year old grandsons someday.

For being slightly offbeat in caliber, moderately powerful for size, relatively compact, and long-sought 'til found, Ruger OM 4.625" 41 Mag Blackhawk. A laser with 231 under 215 SWC.

Almost as accurate as its bigger brother, Redhawk 5-1/2" in 41 Mag, another finalist.

favorite non S&W????
I equate this to naming a favorite child.....cant do it...and if I did , the answer would frequently change....

I do love this bad boy......
Italian 92FS
