What is your Favorite non-S&W Handgun

My favorite handgun is my Glock 19. It is ideal for a versatile role thanks to its reduced dimensions, making it perfect as a backup or concealed carry firearm.

Plus, it's hard to beat the attractiveness of the straight, concentric lines of a Glock with it's excellent nitride finish, the awesome texture of the advanced polymer lower and the Glock 19's undeniable reliability and high magazine capacity.

It would have to be my Gary Reeder Ultimate .410 GNR. A Ruger Bisley with a large 5 shot cylinder. The .410 GNR is a .454 Casull necked down to .41 caliber. It has been used by Gary and others to take everything from Gophers to Cape Buffalo

My Battleworn Norinco 56s. I have a near minty one too, but this is how an AK should look. Bonus Points for paying too much!

Right now, it would have to be my Walther PPQ classic in 9mm.
Soon, hopefully, my Springfield SA35 Hi-power. My order went in on the 25th of last month. Thought it would have been here by now.

It has to be the pistol that I carry 95% of the time. Springfield Armory Micro Compact 1911 in .45 ACP. With a Wilson's 7rd Officer Model magazine + 1 in the chamber, it is a formidable firearm for every day carry. I've owned and carried many firearms in the past 40 years but I've never found one that fit my hand, balanced and pointed as naturally as this pistol. The short slide clears a holster very quickly (making up for my slow reflexes) and that short slide also cycles very quickly and gets back on target very quickly. The Black T finish I had applied after SA's Custom Shop checkered the frontstrap is worn off completely in many spots but since it is a stainless slide and alloy frame, I'm not to worried about rust. It looks like what it is, a well worn tool.

Recent acquisition. Makes me uninterested in all other 9mm.

CZ Tactical Sport Orange. 20 rd capacity. Super light trigger. Very accurate. Heavy. Feels great in my hands.
