What was the last movie you saw, and did you like it?

John Huston's Treasure of the Sierra Madre.

Great movie with a very interesting story as well as character development! :) Highly recommend.

And it also spawned the famous quote:

"Badges? We ain't got no badges! We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinking badges!"

It was the 2nd Bogie DvD I bought-first being Sahara. Also,curently at WM--its a $5 title--and I THINK a $4 title at General Dollar.

Pretty close with a minor correction.I think its: Badges? I dont got no badge....... kinda thing, but, ive been known to be wrong at least twice. :D

I saw the last half of a nice neat old B&W movie last night made circa-1943. I have no clue what the title was-but was on TCM late evening. It starred Betty grable and was an early appearance with: Victor Mature. I think Mature was a sportscaster of some type--but the (evil Detective) made him out to be some kind of a thug--which is kinda what one feels that he is correct that is--till the end of the movie.

The Dogs of War

Halfway through The Dogs of War. Christopher Walken looks 19 years old even though he was 37 when they filmed it.

I will hold off on final judgment though.

CADDYSHACK, last night on some cable tv station. WHAT A CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!

A Chevy Chase quote that always gets me:"What are you doing in the nape or the woods-neck of the way?"

Another quote I love--coming from the Judge: "The World Needs Ditch-diggers Too."

+1

Saw this today at the movies with Mrs. Llando88.

We enjoyed it. Kind of like a regular banana split; plain, good taste, and you know what you are going to get.

Solid 3 out of 5 for great summer entertainment. Felt it was a movie the whole family could enjoy.

"The Equalizer", 2014 film with Denzel Washington, at the local AMC theater here in Tampa on a date with Mrs. Llando88.

An ok film, even if you kind of know where it's going to go. I enjoyed it; the villians are interesting and Denzel comes up with entertaining ways of dispatching them, I must say.

2.5 out of five...

"The Family" not bad at all. The end was a little weak, but otherwise pretty good.

Two from The Redbox:

"Rage", with Nicholas Cage.

It was bad, very bad. 1 out of 5 stars.

"The Prince", with Bruce Willis and John Cusack.

It was even worse than the previous one. Lousy script, indifferent directing, bad acting. 1/2 a star, and that's generous.

"Maleficent" last night.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would going in.

Grown Ups 2. This movie is funny the word go!

Nazi Hunters. This is an extremely interesting documentary. It shows how Mossaad agents were able to apprehend eight Nazis that were taking refuge in South America.

A Night in Old Mexico. Robert Duvall, 'nuff said.
