What's your most recent firearm purchase, and why did you buy it?

I just picked up what appears to be a NIB model 645. Beautiful handgun. Paid $400 and I think the price was reasonable. Anyone with much experience with the 645?

Welcome to the Forum. I purchased my 645 new in 1986 when they first became available to me and I really like that pistol, even when shooting it alongside my Gold Cup. I suspect you will be very happy with it.
It's unfortunate that I don't even have a picture of it.

Most recent purchase? A very nice little four inch 19-3. Just a wonderful little pistol. About all anyone would ever need for just general uses. Wonderful handling, excellent SA and DA trigger pull. Came w/ a sad looking pair of Hogue grips. Replaced with some nice square butt S&W grips that for a long time were on my little Model 18. Found a Bianchi 5BHL in factory black. Makes a really nice combination. Sincerely. bruce.

A 52-2 arrived last Friday, no box, two mags. Why? Wanted one for years, had a chance to shoot one two weeks ago, five rounds later I was convinced.

900 more rounds of 5.56(a no brainer at .24 cents per round delivered for brass) and 500 more of .45acp and 9mm.....in before the inevitable price spike:mad:

No photos yet, and I haven't even had a chance to shoot it, but a couple days ago I bought a 6" Model 28-2, in excellent condition. It locks up as tight as a Colt, and it was $460 OTD. I'm extremely pleased!

Photos and range report to follow ASAP.

Why did I buy it? Now, does that really require an answer?

Vickers Tactical G19. Found it NIB, got it because it was a limited number run of the 3rd installment of Lipsey's/Vickers/Glock pistols, it is out of production and was a good buy. Plus I think the gold bead front sight is pretty cool lol.

I have no idea why I bought this anchor, other than it was local, no tax or transfer, came with 5 mags, two sets of grips, box papers and a box of 45. And a real good price.
Trading fodder for the future I suppose. :)

Once you shoot if a few times you might just want to keep it. The 45xx series is the smoothest shooting pistols you can get. I love my 1911s but this series is so smooth.

Very nice! I always keep my eye out for 1006's, just whenever I find one they are 1000.00+ if not more, especially if they have original box and both mags in good condition.

3913. I wanted a 9mm and kept reading here how great they are.

Last Week I purchased a Smith and Wesson M&P 10, .308 on Thursday and a Glock 19X on Friday. I have been wanting the M&P 10 for a couple of years and the 19X since they were released. Have to slow down a bit now though.

Sorry no pictures. A Ruger Mark 4, Target, like new, just pistol and a zippered case. Because it was a good deal and I wanted a Mark 4.

Well I bought 2 Smiths about a week apart.
#1- S&W 645 cause I thought why not.

#2- And a PD never issued 5906 TSW NIB that Sportsmans Outdoor
Superstore is selling now.

Bought it because I didn't want to end up regretting passing on a original new in box unissued and only fired at the factory gun.

I'll let you guys know when I get it the exact date on the envilope.
It is in transit now with Fedex.

Bought a 6" 629-5 very lightly used and traded in a 2000's vintage Ruger Blackhawk stainless 7.5"

Nothing fancy or special, just right up my alley.
