What's your most recent firearm purchase, and why did you buy it?

Loves me some U rear with the gold bead front. Easy on my old eyes & the bead just seems to center in the U all on it's own!
I was skeptical at first until I got it. I first seen the gold bead being added in Beretta 92's with the fixed, machined front sight. I would have never thought a gold bead would make for a nice front sight, but it's very easy to aquire, especially against an all black, U notch like you mentioned. And surprisingly picks up pretty well in low light too.

Victory 22 today. I have been wanting a target .22 for a while now. I had been set on a Buckmark forever. But after all the reviews on the new Victory, and holding both at the LGS. I was sold. Or it could just be that had bought 2 S&Ws in less than a year. Lol make that 3 now! I no longer have any Glocks for the first I'm in 10 years. But I'm happy where I'm at.

Hmmmm why do you think I would buy something like this and shipped from SIG/Sauer in Germany as well??????

Glock 19, gen 5, nib with 3 mags, night sights and multiple backstrap options for cheap. I'll never shoot it. I've got a grandson coming out of the Marines next year and I figured it make a good addition to his
"thank you for serving package" I'm putting together for him.

What: a Ruger 9mm Take Down PC Carbine.
When: Just this last weekend, a Ruger 9mm Take Down PC Carbine.
Why: Because I like the idea of a carbine using same ammo as my handguns. That this one uses Ruger and Glock mags (for now), my son and I both like it. My Birthday is very soon.

A used Bersa Thunder 380. Couldn’t pass up the price and it’s a sweet shooter. Just wished 380 ammo was priced like 9mm!

My new Kahr 380 cause it conceals better than my J frames, and I wear T's and shorts 9+ months a year. Great little gun with an awesome trigger.

It may (?) conceal a little bit better than a J but unlike the J it's susceptible to failure to feeds.

Bought a pair of 45s in the last 90 days.

The first is a FN FNX 45. Bought it mainly for home defense (replacing a G30 SF) because of the 15 round mag capacity, the red-dot ready MOS mount, and the fact that FN makes great firearms to begin with. I have no use for the threaded barrel, but that could change. The GB price on this was well below MSRP.

The other is an early model PC 945. This was a gun show find that seldom shows up anywhere. Couldn't pass it up for the price, has the original box, and it's very clean. I have regretted letting go of the Shorty 45, and this fills the void nicely.

A Ruger 9E brand new for $279. Got it because it uses SR mags and I ordered a Ruger PC Carbine that should be in Monday that takes SR mags, it takes Glock mags also, but I don't own any Glocks. If anyone ever makes an aftermarket magwell for the carbine that will fit a 5900 I'll switch to that.

Chief's CS9 stainless, left side only safety. Have a few 3913's, wanted a little smaller 9mm, all metal, DA/SA pistol. Not many options out there with that criteria so I've been wanting one for a while. Found a truly like new condition at LGS...$400 out the door! Putting gray big dog style grips on it, flat metal mag floor plate, to make even better for concealed. I'm sure my wife will adopt for her own, but that's OK, because then I can buy another!

My most recent purchase was a brand spanking new CZ USA Teal Over/Under shotgun in 20 gage. Plan is to have something to shoot with when visiting family in Lexington, VA which only has a Shooting Clays range. After looking at numerous videos on Trap, Skeet, and other Clay shooting activities it actually looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah, would have preferred a Browning but the Citori Sport is over 3 times the price of the CZ and the CZ has a lot of very good reviews on the Net. Took mine out to pattern it the day after purchase and it patterns quite well with about the only functional issue it is a bit stiff. Something that I expect will sort itself out with a bit of use. Now all I need is some decent weather so I can get in enough practice to keep from embarrassing myself when shooting with the Brother in Law and my Nephew.

Note, went to a local gun show today to scope things out and one dealer with some of the Brownings had a 26 inch Citori in 12 gage for about what the CZ cost me but the weight was at least 2 lbs heavier and the balance was distinctly barrel heavy. That dealer thought that 849.95 for the CZ was an excellent price and it's a lot more shotgun for the money than most people give them credit for.

2 stripped Spikes lowers.................just because everything else is parts
