What's your most recent firearm purchase, and why did you buy it?

Here's a Rossi 92 Puma 16" stainless 454 Casull I found at a gun show a few weekends ago. It's really a good shooter too and the recoil isn't as bad as I thought. I loved my 44 mag but I am really impressed with this thing. I'll be on the lookout for another for sure

PIcked up my most recent this morning. Springfield GI. My daughter was in an accident, I sat in her hospital room passing time on my phone on gunbroker. Mostly putting low bids on stuff. Accidentally won one.

Hate to hear that (about your daughter, not your new 1911). I hope she is recovering quickly and fully.

I haven't been here in awhile so I have a couple to report. First is a S&W Md 4506-1. I already have a 4506 that I love so much I decided to get this one. I'm really happy I did. The second is a pristine Md 13-1, 4 in. square butt. I've long wanted a 13 and finally I found the right one for me.

I bought a Ruger Security 9 for under 300 OTD. Idea was a disposable EDC that I would not miss if it got confiscated after a SD shooting.
What a great gun! Trigger better than my S&W M&P 2.0, 15 +1 ready to go, and it is light and the ergonomics seem to be made for my hand. Only down side is the safety as it works counter to my previous safeties being hinged on the forward ens of the safety.

Here is my new to me 60-7. These were the first of the J frames with a strengthening package allowing it to safely fire 38sp+P. After these ones the larger J magnum frame was introduced. This one is noticeably smaller than my 60-9

Sorry for the crappy pics. My phone is really dated go figure

Cabela’s bought out a collection from a widow. I got a S&W model 13-1 nickel that had never been shot. It didn’t have a box with it. Barry

A marlin 81dl because its a c&r. Also a 5906 frame because I got a spare set of guts here at home and would like to top it with a 6906/3913 or 6904/3914 slide.

Picked up a CZ PCR because it was in stock and it just fits my hand like a custom glove. Also picked up a CZ P10C for no reason other than to keep up with 1775usmarine!

Even on this forum you have some catching up to do. Granted I do more lurking here in order to absorb knowledge.

1990 1076.

Parts to build 4 new magazines for my 1076. :D

Picked this 4566 up today, from a local big city cop, his duty gun. Much nicer than I thought for a service piece, just a few slight mars in the finish. No holster wear.
Has the decocker, dim night sights( not going to relamp), 3 mags, extra Hogue grip, and a box full of holsters.
Why? Cause it stared me in the face.

Mossberg 500 18" tactical 12 gauge, for home defense. Living in condo now, with neighbors on other sides of walls. No more 9mm bed side pistol due to over penetration concerns.
Mods: Hogue over-rubber stock and forend for better ergonomics and grip. Aluminum rail on top of receiver. Metal safety switch (to replace plastic) with more aggressive grip. Green laser on rail with thumb switch I can reach without changing grip. Shell carrier for added rounds. Loaded up with Federal power shok #4 buck.

A 39-2 posted here by LDOGMILLER.

I had one years ago and it was the best shooting auto I've ever had. I think this has as much to do with the ergonomics as anything else. You all know when you have a gun that just 'fits' perfectly, it will point like a laser for you, well this is it for me.

It is a shooter grade and will make a nice house gun.

Now I just need to find a couple of good quality magazines...
