Which Hollow Point?

So, if I have a M&P 9mm full size that was made on Oct 2015, I should be using 147 grains, not 124? I'm confused.

I tried just about every brand and bullet weight out there and had the tightest groups with American Eagle 147 grain, 4-5 inches, off a pistol rest, at 25 yards, which was better than the 10 inch groups with other ammo. I fitted an Apex barrel and now get 1- sub 2 inch groups off a rest at 25 yards.

I don't see a big difference in group size between the 124 and 147 HST that I shoot bt I do like the recoil pulse of the 147 better. It seems easier to control during rapid fire than its lighter counterpart.
