Which is your FAVORITE S&W revolver?

I know the 27 is a top tier firearm, but N frames just don't feel right to me. I just bought an extremely nice 28-2 for a good price, just because I figured I should get an N Frame. But it doesn't feel right to me like the K frame or L frames do.

I appreciate your honesty, about the S&W N frame revolvers, not suiting your feelings, and needs, as the S&W K Frame Revolvers. So many shooters, accept other shooter's choices, of firearms, with no consideration of their own feelings, and needs. One is a fool, and will never prefect a good shooting style of their own, following that foolish practice. You are heading in the right direction. Good Fortune.

627-2 Lew Horton Hunter. Sick gun, shoots amazing! Just don't know what else to do with it but shoot it a little, admire it a lot, and have that special satisfaction that it's mine. Enough said!
If I knew how to I'd post a pic!

My 4" model 34, 22 Kit Gun is my favorite. By far, it gets used the most. I've got prettier ones but the 34 probably gets shot more than all the others combined.

My 625-1988, 5 inch in 45 colt tutone. Could not find a 625 in Colt, even talked to custom shop and they would not build it so I found a cylinder, built it myself. The most accurate and smoothest revolver I have. All the work was at the kitchen table. Have come a long way in equipment since then.

If I could only have one it would be my 17-2 since I shoot this the most by far. If I could have two then I would add my 649-2 which I carry daily. Three would add the 686; four would add my 63 and five would add my 28-2. And that's all folks.

if I can only pick just one it would have to be the 1977 model 58.

I am debating out loud: The 5'' 29-6 can play as does the 29-6 w Leupold. Then I can't deny mention to the 657 no dash. Secretly my 1977 model 10-8 is my clear favorite (in competition shooting anyway).

You know after some deep thought I think this may be my real favorite.
Yes its a vented rib, just like a Python, almost similar, somewhat the same, almost quality. Its made of Zamac, a zinc alloy, with a steel, maybe, cylinder and a steel, here we are again, lined barrel. I did a trigger job on it and its pretty good, really! Inside is a zillion parts, which acts like a Rube Goldberg machine, Google it. I think it was 89.00 in the 80s. Its quite accurate, sight picture is good, with an adjustable screw adjustable slide and no elevation. You pull the cylinder pin forward to swing out cylinder. The cylinder is has a recessed rim to contain the enormous power of this cartridge. Cylinder gap is .005 and has a square wide target hammer, just like, I have no idea. The grips are modified Houge k frames, nothing but the best for this baby. I did have to fill in the top of the grip with brown Acraglass and drill a new screw hole, also filled in with Acraglass, I only use quality products otherwise it would diminish the total value package. So this is the total package that holds my high esteem. Triple lock, registered got nothing on this Baby. Ok now I have to go delude my self on my self esteem for writing this. And this only one of the many varied Quality arms I am holding instead of a 401.
